Snorkelling and Diving The Great Barrier Reef
The Great Barrier Reef is a protected national marine park and is listed as a World Heritage area. It is a collage of nearly three thousand individual reefs and islands from just north of Bundaberg to the tip of Cape York Peninsula.
The warm waters of the Coral Sea offer some of the best diving and snorkelling in the world. There is generally good visibility which allows you a clear view of the many marine animals that live among the coral reefs, some you may expect to see are giant clams and small shells, starfish and sea cucumbers, anemones, turtles, eels, rays and much more. Most of the trips, are for the day, some longer, normally meals are included and the catering is of the highest standard.
